Depend on the Holy Spirit and Not Yourself
It is important for every Christian to understand that the Holy Spirit was sent and given to them for their spiritual growth. The Holy Spirit will build in you the knowledge and wisdom of God to perfect and mature you. John 14:26 reveals who you should depend on while living in this world. Listen to what Jesus said, “ But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you.” This means the Holy Spirit was sent to fulfill Christ in you. The Holy Spirit will bring forth the knowledge, wisdom, and kingdom of God through you. God has promised that all things are possible to them that believe according to Mark 9:23. The Holy Spirit brings to pass the word of God of which you believe. The Holy Spirit is the comforter for your life when you completely trust the gospel of Jesus Christ as the scriptures say in Ephesians 1:13-14. However, there are Christians who lean to their own understanding and don’t depend on the Holy Spirit.
