Depend on the Holy Spirit and Not Yourself Part II
The Holy Spirit is God’s Spirit. God has given us His Spirit to overcome the Devil and the world. When we were converted from our sinful nature, we became born-again with the Spirit that created the world. Everything God says His Spirit brings it to pass because it comes from Him. The Holy Spirit is the power of God because it is His Spirit. When you say, “By the power of the Holy Spirit I am saved”, you are making it known that God baptized your heart with His Spirit. As a human you have spiritual abilities for His purpose. Your spirit, soul and body are under the influence of the Holy Spirit. Your spirit can fruitfully live in the character of God by the Fruit of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22-23).
